Mg.A Martin Krejzlík is a Czech Production Designer, visual artist, architect and sculptor whose work has a global reach.
He studied at the Václav Hollar Secondary School of Art and completed a six-year master’s programme at UMPRUM in Prague, specialising in sculpture and glass in architecture. In 1997, he undertook a study placement at the Rhode Island School of Design in Professor Bruce Chao’s studio.
Since 2001, he has worked as a Production Designer. Across a 25-year career, he has completed more than 800 projects and created approximately 2,200 sets and scenic environments across Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Martin comes from the Roman name Martinus, derived from Martis, the genitive form of Mars. “My parents gave me the name Martin for a reason. For me, it was not an accident.”
His work spans the complete production-design process: overall visual concept, artistic development and technical coordination through to the final construction and delivery of sets for studios and locations.

درس في مدرسة فاتسلاف هولار الثانوية للفنون، وأكمل برنامج ماجستير لمدة ست سنوات في أكاديمية الفنون والعمارة والتصميم في براغ، متخصصاً في النحت والزجاج في العمارة. وفي عام 1997، التحق ببرنامج دراسي في مدرسة رود آيلاند للتصميم ضمن استوديو البروفيسور بروس تشاو.
منذ عام 2001 يعمل مصمم إنتاج. وخلال مسيرة تمتد خمسة وعشرين عاماً، أنجز أكثر من 800 مشروع وصمّم ما يقارب 2,200 ديكور وبيئة سينمائية في أوروبا والشرق الأوسط والولايات المتحدة.

يأتي اسم مارتن من الاسم الروماني مارتينوس، المشتق من مارتيس، صيغة المضاف إليه من مارس. «أعطاني والداي اسم مارتن لسبب. بالنسبة إليّ، لم يكن ذلك مصادفة».
